How to Prepare and Submit Your Job

To obtain the high quality books you expect from Edwards Brothers, it is important for you to properly prepare your title for production. The Digital Book Center offers a variety of options to make this process as simple and efficient as possible. You may select the following items that best meet your preferences and tastes.

Format – You may submit your book as either a hard copy manuscript or electronically.

Analog Input – We can scan either hard copy typeset pages or a previously printed book.

Digital Input Media – The Digital Book Center accepts most digital media including:

• Zip: 100 MB 3-1/2”
• Jaz: 1 GB
• SyQuest: 230 MB 3-1/2”
• SyQuest: 200 MB 5-1/4”
• Digital Audio Tape (DAT)
• Compact Disk (CD)
• Diskette: 3-1/2”
• FTP

Digital Platforms – Both MAC and PC files are readily accepted.

Digital Input Software Options

• Quark Xpress
• Pagemaker
• InDesign
• Photoshop
• Freehand
• Illustrator
• Most other Desktop Publishing and Word Processing Software
